Emerald Coast Fishing Update - This Week

Triggerfish are biting now on the Emerald Coast

Conditions along the Emerald Coast have stayed consistent, with warming water and good clarity setting up a reliable bite from Santa Rosa Beach through Destin and over toward Panama City Beach. Mornings have been the sweet spot, especially with lighter winds holding steady early.

Inshore, redfish and spotted trout are staying active along the flats and grass lines, while sheepshead continue to hold tight to structure and flounder are starting to show more consistently. Offshore, vermilion snapper and triggerfish are providing steady action, with red grouper opportunities continuing to improve as water temperatures climb.

If you’re looking to get a better sense of what’s been biting lately, or thinking through whether an inshore trip, offshore trip, or something more relaxed for a family trip fits best, this is a great time to see how everything is shaping up across the Gulf Coast of Florida.
