Emerald Coast Fishing Update - This Week
Making the Most of Summer Fishing Opportunities
Whether you're visiting Panama City Beach, staying along 30A, or spending time in Destin, summer fishing is still offering plenty of opportunities on the Emerald Coast. This past week brought changing Gulf conditions, so I had to be selective about when I could safely get offshore, but we still found some quality fish when we had the chance. I'll continue watching the weather closely and making the most of every safe fishing window to give my guests the best experience possible.
Inshore Fishing Update
Changing water conditions affected some of our usual inshore areas this past week, especially around the passes where stronger currents left the water more stained than normal. Even so, that's a temporary part of summer fishing, and I'm optimistic we'll see the bite improve as the water clears back up. With a full moon this week and conditions beginning to stabilize between weather systems, I'll be keeping a close eye on the redfish bite.

Offshore Fishing Update
Although I was only able to fish offshore a couple of days this past week, we still put together some quality catches. Vermilion snapper provided the most consistent action, along with several nice red grouper and a few red snapper before conditions kept us closer to shore. Looking ahead, I'll continue watching the forecast closely and take advantage of every safe opportunity to get back offshore as summer fishing continues.
