Redfish Keep the Inshore Bite Steady
This week is starting a little differently along the Emerald Coast as we keep a close eye on Tropical Storm Bertha in the Gulf. While a Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for Panama City Beach, the forecast continues to evolve, and my focus will always be on making safe decisions for every trip. Once conditions settle down, I expect our summer fishing to pick right back up where it left off, with dependable inshore action and excellent offshore opportunities.
Whether you're planning your first charter or coming back for another trip, summer continues to offer plenty of reasons to get out on the water.
Inshore Fishing Update
Redfish continue to be the story on my inshore trips. They're feeding well around the bays and grass flats, and they've been giving guests steady action throughout the week. Speckled trout and mangrove snapper have continued to add variety, while the occasional black drum has made an appearance for anglers fishing around deeper structure.

When the Gulf has settled down enough to safely make the run offshore, red snapper have continued to headline the action. Vermilion snapper have been a great bonus on many trips, and we've also continued seeing mahi along with the occasional grouper depending on where we're fishing and the daily conditions.
